Machine shipping runs at full speed

Despite production having to stop in some CLAAS plants due to the effects of the Corona crisis, the delivery of finished machines continues at a high level.

Last week, 106 tractors from Le Mans alone made their way to CLAAS dealers and customers. In Harsewinkel, too, machine shipments are running at full speed. In addition to the JAGUAR forage harvester, for which, by the way, an unusually high number of orders have been received from China this year, the LEXION and TUCANO in addition to the AVERO in particular are going to the most diverse markets on low loaders. This currently means 20 to 35 combine harvesters and 15 to 20 forage harvesters are leaving the plant each day. In many places, the early-bird machines are already eagerly awaited, but so is our XERION. And in Krasnodar, where all the staff were sent on "Putin holidays" this week, machine shipments and, of course, the spare parts service continue.

The all-clear has also been sounded for the green forage harvesting sector: on the one hand, round and square balers are still being shipped from Metz, on the other hand production at Bad Saulgau continues as planned and sends a good 100 mowers, swathers, tedders and loader wagons out for delivery every day.

Loading and shipping is still carrying on at Metz as well – including this new QUADRANT 5300 FC. | In Le Mans, an average of 25 tractors per day are transported by low-loader to the most diverse regions and markets.

This positive news is also a good reason to say "thank you". Not only to all CLAAS employees who ensure that the machines can be loaded and shipped. But also to the truck drivers who, despite all the current difficulties, bring our seed-green technology reliably and quickly to dealers and customers. Thank you, and stay healthy!
